Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy is done by using different sizes silicone cups. Through suction, the skin is drawn into the cup by creating a vacuum. The cup is placed on the skin over the targeted area. Cupping increases blood circulation to the area where the cups are placed. This relieves muscle tension, which can improve overall blood flow and promote cell repair. It can also help form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue. Cupping therapy can also be used in case of cellulite removal. Be aware that cupping therapy can be a little painful for the first couple of times, depending on the condition of the body.
How the massage is carried out:
Cupping therapy is combined with classical massage, using massage cream. Where there is dead, static blood and toxins present in the body, cupping can leave marks wich indicates that the stagnation or disease has been moved from the deep tissue layers to the surface. The color of the marks depend on the level of stagnation in the area, and range from abright red to dark purple, usually lasting 3 days to a week.
